*CROWN OF GOODNESS
*
Exodus 33:12-23
*INTRODUCTION*
In the journey of the people of Israel to the Promised Land, Moses their leader requested for two important things from God: the Lord's mobile Presence and His Glory.
In His reply, God guaranteed Moses of what he demanded. Particularly, He explained to him how he could assess His Glory in verse 19. God equated His Glory to all His Goodness.(Exodus 33:19)
"And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy"
This is what God has prepared for those He has decided to be gracious to at the end of this year. He will satisfy them with His Glory and Goodness and keep shame and lack away totally from them.
"Thou crowest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness" (Psalms 65:11)
God crowns each year with His goodness, filling our lives with abundance and blessings. As we walk in His paths, we are nourished and sustained, experiencing His faithfulness and provision in every season.
*GOD'S COVER*
No matter the distance you have covered or the level of your efforts, until God covers it with His crown, it remains ordinary. Until one receives this "crowning" or blessing, their efforts and achievements may not be seen as extraordinary or meaningful. Therefore, it is important to seek this crowning or blessing now in order to truly become extraordinary and to have a fulfilling and meaningful year
Crowning of God therefore is a good cover you need to become extraordinary. This year, God will crown all your efforts and it shall never be an ordinary year.
*WITH WHAT?*
God covers His people with Glory to remove shame and with His Goodness to terminate lack. God's glory is a mark of His presence in our lives
*WHY NOW?*
Ecclesiastes 7:8
Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
Jesus is the Alpha and Omega. He has the ability to start a thing; take it through one level of glory to another and complete it gloriously at the end (Philippians 1:6).
Proverbs 4:18
But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
Today is the perfect day. No matter what you must have been receiving from God, He will give icing on your cake at this tail end of the year.
For the patient in the spirit, Jesus keeps the good wine till the end time.
John 2:10
And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
God blesses His people at the end of each year so much to ensure their paths drop fatness (filled with abundance and prosperity) of the abundance of His Goodness into the new year.
*CONCLUSION*
Let's keep on trusting God for His goodness, for He prepares the way for you and me with grace and abundance into the new year 2025.
You and your family members will end this year on a wonderful note and your paths will drop fatness of God's abundance into the new year in Jesus' Mighty Name.
We will not end this year empty-handed, and there shall be no carryover of evils in Jesus' Mighty Name.
